Laura Provard, left and Chris Burroughs are key leaders in the 2014 Labyrinth Arts Festival on October 11. They are seated in front of a twig and leaf sculpture which they created earlier this year.
Chris Burroughs, chairperson of the Labyrinth Arts Festival and resident of Batavia Township, is pleased announce the participation of several Clermont County artists and committee members.

The October 11 event will feature artists with diverse specialties. Michael Ball, master woodturner from Loveland, will offer his wooden platters, bowls, vases, earring pedestals and crochet needles. He will also demonstrate the skill of woodturning on his lathe. Bethel resident Laura Osborn-Coffey will be selling her handmade batik handbags and quilts. Her weavings have been ribbon-winners of the Clermont County Fair. Linda Ray, Loveland jewelry artist, uses freshwater pearls, German agate, Swarovski crystals and other gems in her pieces. Eva Sofge, from Amelia, will bring her paintings and pencil drawings. Burroughs says, “I am especially pleased that Clermont County will be well represented at the festival. A few spaces remain if other artists care to be a part of this well-regarded event.”

In addition, Amy Annette Wardwell, Amelia musician, will provide her special style of classics and rock.

Local residents on the planning team include Ellie Lamb (New Richmond), Gretchen Elliston (Milford) and Laura Provard (Batavia).
