Warren Bruce Fields, 92, of Miami Township, died July 31 in Montgomery.

Fields served in the United States Army during World War II as a technician and received many battlefield awards. He was involved in the following battles: Rhineland, Central Europe, Ardennes, Northern France and Normandy. He received five Bronze Stars, the East Africa Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. Before and after the war, he was a master coppersmith leading to the ownership of his own company, Mechanicals Inc.

Fields is survived by his son Bruce, brother Paul Nielander, and nephew Warren Nielander.

He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Mae Francis Fields and son Terry.

Private services will be held. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
