Bicentennial committee is looking for parade entries

The Batavia Bicentennial Committee is seeking entries to participant in the Bicentennial Parade.

The parade will be the morning of Saturday, Aug. 9.

Veteran organizations, churches, businesses, marching units, recreational groups, floats, antique cars, equestrian groups, elected officials and candidates, and other individuals and groups are all welcome.

“Help make this a memorable community celebration to remember,” said Judy Miller. She and Scott Runck are coordinating the parade.

Line up for the Parade will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Batavia Post Office. The Parade will start at 11 a.m. and proceed down the newly renovated Main Street.
