Veterans can learn about their benefits during an afternoon discussion set for 2 – 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 at the Amelia Branch Library, 58 Maple Street.

Clermont County Veterans Services Commission Executive Director Howard Daugherty will be on hand to discuss benefits, financial assistance, transportation, medal information and other important services for veterans.

Also, Chris Rich, Owensville Branch Library manager, will share information about the Veterans History Project. He and other library staff members are interviewing veterans about their service. Those interviews are placed on a DVD and sent to the Library of Congress. A second DVD is kept in the library collection for patrons to view.
