U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) has announced that HealthSource of Ohio, Inc., a non-for-profit primary care organization in southwest Ohio, has received new resources from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support and develop primary care health services.
HealthSource of Ohio, Inc. serves Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren Counties.
“Community health centers play a vital role in helping Ohioans obtain access to primary and preventive health care services,” said Brown. “These new federal resources will help HealthSource of Ohio, Inc. provide affordable and accessible health care to more of southwest Ohio’s children, seniors, and parents.”
Allocated through the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Cluster program, the grant will provide $3,780,908 to the organization.
