Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Goshen Township of Clermont County, Ohio, passed on the 10th day of December, 2013, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 2014, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Goshen Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefore, or sources of water supply and materials therefore, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire alarm telegraph, or payment of permanent, part-time or volunteer firefighters or firefighting companies to operate the same, including the payment of the firefighter employers contribution required under Section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or the purchase of ambulances, ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical service operated by a fire department or firefighting company.
Tax being an additional tax of three and five-tenths (3.5) mills at a rate not exceeding 3.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.35 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Council of the City of Milford of Clermont and Hamilton Counties, Ohio passed on the 4th day of February, 2014, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 2014, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the City of Milford for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefor, or sources of water supply and materials therefor, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent, part-time, or volunteer firefighters or firefighting companies to operate the same, including the payment of the firefighter employers’ contribution required under Section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or the purchase of ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical services operated by a fire department or firefighting company.
Tax being a renewal of a tax of ten and five-tenths (10.5) mills and an increase of two (2) mills to constitute a tax of twelve and five-tenths (12.5) mills at a rate not exceeding 12.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $1.25 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.

The New Richmond Board of Appeals has scheduled a public hearing for May 20th, 2014 at 7:00pm. The hearing will be held in the council chambers at 102 Willow Street, New Richmond, Ohio. The purpose of the hearing is to review a variance request filed by Mr. Michael Dobbins.
