Staff report

A man led police on a chase from Northern Kentucky and ended up crashing his vehicle into a house in Union Township April 17, according to Union Township police.

Lieutenant Scott Gaviglia, with the Union Township Police Department, said the incident occurred just past 5 a.m.

“He crashed in front of the home and he fled on foot,” Gaviglia said.

Gaviglia said Union Township police heard that Campbell County authorities were pursuing a vehicle, and then responded to the scene after the crash.

“A perimeter was set up, which proved to be successful because he was found in the perimeter,” Gaviglia said.

Gaviglia said the man, Odis Arnold, 31, was transported to the hospital and was released to Campbell County authorities who are handling the charges.

“We’ll have additional charges,” Gaviglia said.
