Fair book cover design contest winner Bryce Toles, center, with Fair Book Committee co-chairs Bea Faul, left, and Dan Hodges.
Bryce Toles, a seventh grade student at Clermont Northeastern Middle School, is the winner of the Clermont County Agricultural Society’s Fair Book Cover Design contest.

Toles received a $50 check and two fair passes as the design winner. His design was chosen from among 15 entries. This will be his second year in 4-H and is a member of the Owensville Winners 4-H Club and the first time he has entered the fair book cover contest. In addition to his interest in art, Toles plays the drums in the band and runs track. Bryce is the son of Robert and Robin Toles of Williamsburg.

The only other time a student has won the fair book cover design contest was in 2008 when it was won by Milford High School senior, Amanda Bolton. Bolton has gone on to graduate magna cum laude from UC’s DAAP School and has recently won the international home and housewares show student competition in Chicago for her design of kitchenware for visually impaired.
