The three farmers markets sponsored by the Brown County Farmers’ Market Association will open just before Mothers’ Day in May, with Mt. Orab and Ripley both beginning on May 10, from 9 a.m. to Noon, while Georgetown’s Market will occur on Thursdays, from 3 – 7 p.m.starting on May 8.

Ripley’s Market is at 116 Main Street, in the lot across from Ripley Hardware. Joanne is the organizer and may be reached at the Hardware Store.

In Mt. Orab, Vicki is the organizer, and the Market will take Place on Old 32 (also called West Main) across from the school and the Ford Dealer, just east of Patriot Fuels.

In Georgetown, the Market is scheduled to be in its usual location, the parking lot two doors north of W. State Street on South Main Street.

New vendors are welcome! Home grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants are the mainstay of these markets, but homemade crafts, canned goods such as jelly and relish, eggs, herbs and baked goods are also for sale.

Flea market merchandise is not allowed.
