A fundraising event for Trace Voshell, who is currently battling cancer, will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at the Owensville United Methodist Church.
The event will include a spaghetti dinner, raffle, and silent auction.
Voshell is the son of Paul and Rhonda Voshell, brother to Hunter Voshell, and fiance to Maggie Brown.
He graduated from Clermont Northeastern High School in 2007 and furthered his education at Ohio University. He played baseball through college and went on to play professionally.
Voshell uses the degree he earned at OU in his career at Humana Insurance. He loves to hunt, work out, shoot competitive archery, and coach baseball.
He is an extremely health conscious 24-year-old and in December of 2013 he received a life changing diagnosis of testicular cancer. The cancer has spread to his lungs and lymph nodes surrounding his kidneys.

Also to benefit Voshell, the Northeastern Lions Club will hold a fish fry from 4 – 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 11 at the CNE Middle School.
