Snow and cold can’t stop Girl Scouts

Batavia village administrator Dennis Nichols, left, buys a box of Girl Scout cookies in the midst of a snow squall Tuesday, March 25.

Scout Callie Holbert, front, her mom Angela Holbert, back, and other scouts from Batavia Troop 40136 were selling cookies at a table they set up at the intersection of Main and Fourth streets.

Angela Holbert said that they weren’t about to let the weather keep them from selling cookies. “This is the last week of the cookie sale, and the girls want to sell as many as they can,” she said.
