Easter is right around the corner, and many local governments and organizations will be celebrating the occasion with annual Easter egg hunts along with other festivities.

The following locations will hold an Easter egg hunt event this year:

Amelia: The Amelia Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. April 12 at Spencer Shank Memorial Park in the village.

The event will include an egg hunt with different age groups, a visit from the Easter Bunny and other activities. For more information call (513) 753-4747.

Batavia Township: Batavia Rotary Club will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Batavia Township Community Center Park at 10 a.m. April 12.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be four age groups at the egg hunt.

Prior to the egg hunt, there will be a Bunny Parade, where children are invited to wear bunny ears and other festive costumes. The Easter Bunny will lead the parade and take time to visit with children.

Milford: The Milford Easter Eggstravaganza will be held at 10 a.m. April 12 at Riverside Park.

The Easter Bunny will arrive on the Milford Community Fire Department’s antique fire truck. There will be three age groups for the egg hunt. Refreshments, face painting and balloons will also be available.

The rain date for the event will be 10:30 a.m. April 19. For more information call (513) 831-4192.

New Richmond: The 2014 Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m. April 19 at Rose Vesper Park in the village. The hunt is divided into several age groups. The event is free and open to the public. For more information call (513) 553-4146.

Pierce Township: The Pierce Township 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10 a.m. April 12 at the township park located at 961 Locust Corner Road. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and the egg hunt will start at 11 a.m.

There will be four age-appropriate field assignments at the egg hunt. After eggs are collected there will be a drawing for prizes. Call (513) 732-6262 for more information.

Williamsburg: The Williamsburg Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. April 12 at Williamsburg Community Park, 150 East Main Street.

The parade around the walking track with “Flopsy” the bunny will begin at 10 a.m. and the egg hunt will follow with several age groups. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Call (513) 724-6107 for more details.
