The Clermont County Department of Community & Economic Development will host a meeting at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10 in the shared conference room of the administration building, located at 101 E. Main Street, 3rd Floor, in the Village of Batavia for contractors interested in participating in the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP).
The CHIP program is the result of a grant provided through the Ohio Development Services Agency and is designed to assist qualified homeowners with home repair needs.
The meeting will provide an overview of the CHIP program, contractor requirements for participation including application, insurance, lead safe work training, and other relevant information. Small contractor, minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
