Charles Reynolds, 87, of Bethel, died Feb. 17.

Reynolds served in the United States Army as a medic in France and was awarded the Army Occupation Medal and World War II Victory Ribbon and reached the rank of sergeant.

He also worked in the fiberglass manufacturing industry for many years and was an animal lover.

Reynolds is survived by his daughter Joanna Reynolds, son Edward Dube, siblings Edith Reynolds, Faye Pace, Kenis Reynolds and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Buffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Virgie Reynolds, siblings Emit and Townsil Reynolds and sons Guy and Daniel Dube.

Interment at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown at a later date. Memorials to Second Chance Pet Adoptions, 6003 Chapel Hill Rd., Raleigh NC 27540.
