Billy Fussnecker, 66, of Amelia, died Feb. 21.
He was a United States Navy veteran and received the Navy Commendation Medal on February 13, 1967 for saving Navy Seal team members lives while under fire.
Fussnecker is survived by his wife Donna, children John (Cynthia), Billy Jr., and Jason Fussnecker, grandchildren Jessica, Dylan and Destiny Fussnecker, siblings Simon, Ricky and Kenny Fussnecker, Edie Gabbard and Patricia Black and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Feb. 26 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.
