Batavia resident Carley Wilson of Batavia is the recipient of a $14,000 Academic Achievement Scholarship to attend Wilmington College, where she plans to major in Spanish and theatre.

She will graduate in 2014 from Glen Este High School, Cincinnati, where she is a member of the National Honor Society.

Wilson is the daughter of Donnie and Holly Wilson.

Other types of scholarships and award amounts are available from Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers). It is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash branch campus serves a large number of non-traditional students.
