Clermont County Juvenile Court will be getting new security equipment thanks to funds awarded by the Ohio Department of Youth Services Juvenile Accountability Block Grant.

The security camera equipment costs a total of $11,112 with $10,000 coming from the grant and a local match of $1,112 coming from the Juvenile Court Special Projects Fund.

Commissioners approved the grant and the use of the funds for the local match for the equipment during their Jan. 29 session.

Clermont County Administrator Stephen Rabolt said the new security camera equipment will be used at Juvenile Court to upgrade security.

“This is part of an overall upgrade county-wide,” Rabolt said about the system. “You will start to see more of these.”
