Clermont County commissioners recognized American Modern Insurance Group during the Jan. 8 meeting for 75 years of business.
American Modern Insurance Group is a specialty insurance business located in Amelia.
The company’s history dates back to 1938 when its original parent, The Midland Company was founded in Cincinnati as an automobile finance company, according to their website.
Commissioners congratulated American Modern Insurance Group on 75 years of business.
Commissioner Ed Humphrey presented a certificate of appreciation to Manuel Rios, president and CEO of the company, and thanked him for being a part of Clermont County.
“We are really pleased to be honored,” Rios said. “We are proud to be a part of Clermont County.”
Rios said the company continues to grow in the area. He said their regional data center was moved to Clermont County from Munich, Germany.
“We appreciate that we are part of the community,” Rios said. “I would love to fill our buildings with Clermont County people. This is a good place.”
