The shopping center across from Jungle Jim’s in Union Township will be getting a face lift in the near future.

Union Township Administrator Ken Geis said shopping center changed ownership in November and the new owner is committed to making improvements.

Geis said the center was purchased by PEBB Enterprises, a company out of Boca Raton, Fla. He said they closed on the shopping center Nov. 26.

The shopping center has several tenants already, but also has many openings.

“The owner is going to invest $4 million to $6 million in that strip,” Geis said during trustees’ Dec. 12 meeting. “I think with the new owners we will see positive growth there in 2014.”

PEBB Enterprises is a private family-owned real estate investment and management company based out of Florida, according to their website.

Tenants in their various developments include Dunkin Donuts, Mattress Firm, Panda Express, Petco, Vitamin Shoppe and many more.
