Now that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is approaching, it is time for the annual Trains of Williamsburg Christmas Walk, which will be held in the village of Williamsburg Dec. 6.
The event features a variety of holiday entertainment and activities including train displays, shopping, musical performances, a visit from Santa, and more.
“There will be Santa at the North Pole, fire truck rides, music from Williamsburg elementary and high schools,” Williamsburg Mayor Mary Ann Lefker said about the event.
Lefker said train displays will be set up at businesses and shops throughout the village, including a large display at the American Legion.
Lefker said residents will be able to complete conductor stops at the different train displays and enter to win a Lionel Trains model train.
Lefker said there will be a bell choir from the United Methodist Church, strolling carolers as well as food and activity tents along Main Street.
The Williamsburg branch of the Clermont County Library will also have activities during the Christmas walk.
“Businesses are staying open to entertain guests,” Lefker said.
The festival will run will be from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 6 along Main Street in the village.
