James Smith
James Smith has been named Chairman of the Board of the Community Savings Bank succeeding Dr. Charles Frost.

Mr. Smith has served on the bank board since 2006. Along with his wife Brenda, he is a long time resident of the Bethel area.

Smith was formerly superintendent of Bethel-Tate Schools from 1998 to 2011 when he retired. He has since served as Interim Superintendent of Winton Woods City School District and has been recently named Interim Superintendent of Hillsboro City School District.

“I look forward to Community Savings Bank continuing to provide top notch, cutting edge financial services to our community,” Smith said. “We have a real treasure in the Community Savings Bank. The point of our existence is to serve the financial needs of our community.”

Smith begins his duties immediately.
