Mendoza is survived by his wife Dr. Araceli Reyes Mendoza, children Carmen Irene (Jeffrey Houchin), Antonio R. Mendoza Jr., Maria Cecilia (William John Booth Jr.), Elizabeth (Daniel Rupp), Stephen (Carmen Mendoza), grandchildren Araceli Cecilia, Malaya, Malik, Maxwell, Leah, Richard Antonio, Jarod, and Scott, sisters Deloric Roperos, Fortunata Mendoza, Esther Balverde, and Celso Mendoza.
He was preceded in death by his brother Buenaventura Mendoza.
Services held Aug. 22 at San Fernando Rey Parish Church, Liloan, Cebu, Philippines.
A memorial mass service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bethel.
