Clermont County Sheriff's Office Deputy Frank Lindsey was involved in a crash on state Route 125 near Amelia Oct. 3.

A Clermont County Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a car crash on state Route 125 near Amelia.

According to a release from Clermont County Sheriff A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg, the deputy, Frank Lindsey, was traveling east on SR 125 in the left, high speed lane, and struck a car that stopped in front of him waiting to turn left into a driveway.

“The deputy complained of soreness to his shoulder and was transported to the hospital for examination and X-rays,” Sheriff Rodenberg said.

The driver of the car that was struck was transported to Mercy Anderson complaining of neck pains.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Batavia Post handled the accident report.
