A single vehicle truck crash closed state Route 743 Friday, Oct. 11.

Jacob Latham, driving a 1995 International semi, was hauling a load of soybeans south on state Route 743 when, according to the Highway Patrol, he dropped off the right edge of the road.

The load shifted, and when Latham turned left to get back on the roadway, the vehicle rolled and came to rest off the right side of the road.

Latham escaped the crash without injury.
