Thomas Lacy, 89, of Georgetown, died Sept. 23 at Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown.
Lacy retired from Duff Truck Line in Cincinnati and was a driver for more than 30 years. He was a former carpenter for Pease Woodwork Company in Hamilton and a former employee of the Kroger Company in Price Hill.
He was a member of the F and A.M. Lodge 590 in Amelia and the American Legion Carey-Bavis Post 180 in Georgetown. He was sergeant in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his sons Wayne (Vickie) Lacy, Tommy (Sharon) Lacy and Lonnie (Janice) Lacy, daughters Donna (John) Spilker, Connie (Mike) Kearney and Shelly (Don) Wright, brothers Millard Lacy, Johnny Lacy and Robert Lacy, sisters Ruth Smith, Edna Cheney, Mary Ferrell and Betty Hoop, 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ida, wife Elizabeth Lacy and son Ronald Lacy.
Visitation noon until 2 p.m. services Sept. 27 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. Interment with military service at Wheat Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Oliver Township.
