Glen Este High School will be jumping “Into the Ocean” for this year’s Fall Homecoming Celebration the first week in October.

School and Community Organizations and Athletic and Performance Teams are invited to join in the Homecoming Parade from 6-7 p.m Friday Oct. 4 (with lineup from 5-5:30 pm and judging at 5:30).

In order to keep participants safe and not clog area roadways already affected by construction, this year’s parade will remain on the Glen Este High School Campus.

The best viewing opportunities will be in the area around the GEHS pond loop and down the side of the Performing Arts Center. For those planning on attending the football game, there will be excellent viewing in the Football Stadium as the parade will travel around the football field on the track.

Want to participate in the parade? Contact Joan Stear at stear_j@westcler.org for a registration form by Oct. 2.

Other Homecoming week activities will be Dress Up Spirit Days Monday-Thursday, a pep rally on Thursday, the Homecoming Game at 7 p.m. Friday and a Semi-Formal Homecoming Dance from 7:30-11:30 Saturday Oct. 5 in the GEHS Gymnasium.
