The Village of Moscow Historical Committee is presenting the “Lighting the Past Dinner Series,” a series of dinners with historical highlights.
The first is “Believe It or Not” presented by local historical Rick Crawford at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, garlic bread, drinks and homemade desert. The silent auction will feature items such as a framed print of the Delta Queen, a large brass hand bell stamped “Titanic, 1912, London,” a Longaberger Pottery Retired American Craft Light Ivy pitcher and much more.
Tickets are on sale for $12 for a single and two for $20 in advance, $12 at the door. Call (513) 515-8588 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook at Moscow Ohio History to reserve your spot.
Two more dinners are planned. “Local Haunted Places,” will be presented by Rick Crawford Oct. 13, and “Thanks to Ulysses S. Grant,” will be presented by Greg Roberts Nov. 10. All proceeds from these dinners go toward the village of Moscow 2016 Bicentennial Celebration.
