For the sixth year in a row, the Clermont County Fairgrounds will be the site of an exciting and fun filled Halloween Campout.
For only $75 per camper for three nights (or $40 for primitive camping), families can enjoy all the activities associated with Halloween, including trick or treating, hayrides, and costume and campsite judging, while enjoying evening campfires and all the pleasures of camping with your family and/or friends.
In addition, there will be free entertainment on Friday night by the Missy Werner Band and on Saturday night, Cheap Thrill. A chili cook off and additional activities for the kids are also being planned. The dates for this event are Oct. 24-27.
On the north end of the fairgrounds a Haunted Trail will be set up for those brave enough to enter, for a small additional charge. Proceeds from the Haunted Trail will go to the CNE Rockets Baseball Team and the Junior Class.
On Saturday afternoon, Friends of the Fair will be holding a Quarter Auction on the fairgrounds as an additional activity. The auction will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Doors will open at 1:15 p.m. Featured vendors will include Donna Sharp, Longaberger, Thirty-One, Man Caves, and more. Donations are welcome. Proceeds will go toward the new hog barn and show arena.
All campsites include water and electricity and there is plenty of room for everyone. Camping applications can be found of the Fair Board’s website, www.clermontcountyfair.org. For more information, call Fair Board Director Jack Graser at (513) 553-2608.
