The Board of Clermont County Commissioners intend to request proposals for the Clermont County K-9 Designee. The Board of Clermont County Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as Owner or County) is seeking qualifications from interested Organizations capable of taking ownership of any dog that is scheduled to be euthanized at the Clermont County Animal Shelter within 48 hours of such notice in an effort to decrease the euthanasia rate in Clermont County. The Organization must be currently operating as an 501(c)3 organization or other entity whose core mission predominately includes efforts to manage the dog population in Ohio through sheltering, fostering, and/or adoption of dogs. Any Organization interested in receiving the request for proposals shall submit written notice to the office of the Board of Clermont County Commissioners, 3rd floor, 101 East Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103 no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, June 29, 2013.
The Board of Clermont County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all proposals and to hold such proposals for a period of sixty (60) days before taking any action.
