The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Union Township Police Department and the Clermont County Narcotics Unit, is investigating the Piccadilly area of Union Township related to drug and gang activity.

According to a release from Clermont County Sheriff A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg, the departments served search warrants to 498 Piccadilly Square Apartment A, 503 Piccadilly Square Apartment B, and 3970 Piccadilly Circle Apartment D on June 21 related to the investigation.

“A quantity of drugs, US currency, 13 vehicles, electronics and incriminating documents were recovered during the search,” Sheriff Rodenberg said in a release. “As a result of information obtained during the original search warrants, additional search warrants were served at a storage facility in Pierce Township.”

Sheriff Rodenberg said no arrests have been made in the case at this time, but he said the case is being prepared for presentation to the Clermont County Grand Jury for several suspects.

“The potential charges include trafficking in drugs, money laundering, permitting drug abuse, participation in a criminal gang and conspiracy, welfare fraud, and tax evasion,” Sheriff Rodenberg said.

He said other possible suspects have been identified and are being investigated, including other Piccadilly owners and residents who ignored and permitted illegal activity to occur in their apartment buildings.
