Helen Grace Berger, 89, of Fayetteville, died May 31 in Cincinnati.

Berger was a member of St. Angela Merici Parish, St. Patrick Chapel, and Brown County Senior Citizens. She was an Avon representative and she loved gardening and animals.

She was preceded in death by husband Joseph K. Berger, parents George and Clara Cole, children Jeffrey Berger, Donald Berger, and JoAnn Smith, and great-grandchildren Steve Jr. and Mia.

Berger is survived by children Joseph “Pokey” Berger, John Robert (Bonnie) Berger, James (Susan) Berger, Jeannine (Terry Hendrickson) Berger, Joyce (Albert Barber, Jr.) Berger, and Janet “Beattle” (Steve) Sandlin, son-in-law Kenny Smith, grandchildren John Robert Berger Jr., Ronnie Countryman, Nicky Berger, Steven J. (Melissa) Sandlin, Tiffany (Jay) Barrnett, Zachary Sandlin, Stephanie (Carl) Berger, James M. Berger, Randy Countryman, and Jessica Berger, and great-grandchildren Blake, Brandon, Dustin, Dylan, Elenanna, Eden, Ethan, Linkin, and Maci.

Visitation held 6-8 p.m. June 5 at Megie Funeral Home in Mt. Orab. Mass of Christian Burial held 10 a.m. June 6 at St. Angela Merici Parish, St. Patrick Chapel in Fayetteville. Interment at Vera Cruz Cemetery in Vera Cruz.
