Batavia Mayor John Thebout has been reelected president of the Clermont County Mayor’s Association for 2013.
Amelia Mayor Todd Hart was elected vice president of the association.
The association holds meetings from 9 – 11 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month. The meetings are held at the various municipalities on a rotating basis, and are open to the public.
“The meetings give us an opportunity to see what’s going on around the county and stay updated on issues which may affect us all,” Thebout said.
The association also occasionally hears from speakers on a variety of topics of interest to local government leaders.
