The Williamsburg Lady Wildcats’ 7th and 8th grade teams both won the Southern Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference regular season championship and then followed that up by winning the conference tournament.

The 7th grade team, coached by Chris Rolph, went 18-0 on the season overall.

En route to their perfect season, the Lady Wildcats took down Northern Division foe, Western Brown, handing the Lady Broncos their only loss of the season.

The 8th grade team, coached by Mandy Ervin, also had a banner year.

The Lady Wildcats notched a 16-2 overall record, which included an unblemished record in the Southern Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference, making them the regular-season champions.

The 8th graders backed up those impressive feats by running through the tournament.

The team had won the league and conference tournament as 7th graders, making them back-to-back champions.

Much of the team will move on to the high school level, giving head coach Ken Lowe a solid talent pool from which to draw the next Williamsburg High School Lady Wildcat lineup.
