Helen Norris Lance, 82, formerly of Hamersville, died Feb. 14.

Lance graduated from The Ohio State University with bachelors and masters degrees in music education. She was a long time voice and piano instructor.

She is survived by her son Mark Lance, daughter-in-law Amy Hubbard, grand-daughter Emma Lance, sister Joyce Klopfstein and friend John Lyons.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Lance.

Visitation 10-11 a.m. Feb. 23 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel. interment at Tate Township Cemetery.
