Felicity FFA members win state career development contest

Felicity-Franklin FFA members Serena Spaulding, Paige Kessen, Christina Paskow, Jordan Utter, and Mikayla Hamilton won the State Agricultural Issues Career Development Event at Wilmington College on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

The team will to advance to the national contest next October in Louisville, Kentucky at the 86th National FFA Convention.

The group researched the controversial topic of animal testing and presented the benefits and risks to local community groups before presenting at the state competition.

This is the second year in a row that the Felicity-Franklin FFA has won this contest, however, team members are different each year.
