Total Quality Logistics, the second largest freight brokerage company in the nation, will be hosting an open house for job seekers at its Clermont County headquarters and all of its satellite locations March 9.

“It’s a chance for people to come in and learn more about our company,” Kristine Glenn, public relations specialist for TQL said. “They can get a feel for who we are if they are on site.”

Glenn said the open house will enable individuals to also get a feel for the culture at TQL, and help them decide whether or not it would be a place they would enjoy working.

“It is something to know about a company and their culture,” Glenn said. “We like to do things with a little bit of flair and have a little bit of fun.”

Glenn said at the headquarters, the company will have 15 different booths set up at the open house with at least two representatives from the company at each booth.

She said information will cover what a sales position is like, what benefits are available, national relocation opportunities, and more.

“There will be several people conducting tours of the building as well as multiple members of our recruiting team and management staff to speak with,” Glenn said.

There will also be an opportunity to win $60,632, the dollar amount equal to the average annual compensation of a salesperson who has been selling with TQL for two years, at the event.

Glenn said the company’s goal is to hire 100 people nationwide following the event.

She said the company currently has 18 offices in the United States, including their corporate headquarters in Union Township.

She said in the Greater Cincinnati area, TQL has satellite offices in West Chester, Western Hills and Erlanger, Ky.

“They will primarily be entry level sales employees,” Glenn said about the positions available.

Glenn said managers will be giving some interviews on-site during the event.

She said if individuals know they are interested in working for the company, they should apply online ahead of time and bring a copy of their resume with them.

“If they apply online first, there may be opportunities,” Glenn said about interviewing.

She said they should also be prepared by knowing about the company ahead of time.

“If this is someone who is seriously considering, I would recommend they go to our jobs site and learn more about the company,” Glenn said. “It would be very important for them to really know what they are coming in for.”

According to their website, TQL specializes in truckload transportation and acts as the middleman between companies that need goods shipped and freight companies.

The company has opened 17 offices and created more than 1,200 jobs since 2009. Glenn said they are hoping to create an additional 400 jobs at their various locations this year.

The open house at the Union Township headquarters will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9. Other satellite offices in the area will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
