Bertha Mayfield, 70, of Hamersville, died Feb. 20.
Mayfield is survived by her son Allen Mayfield, step-son Richard (Peggy) Thornsburg, two step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren, siblings Mary Durham and Minnie Hopper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Mayfield Jr., and siblings Ray and McKinley Peace, Ada Hopper and Nora Peace.
Visitation 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Feb. 25 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Jaymie Jamison Foundation of Hope.
