Councilwoman Renee Gerber gave council an update about the event during their March 27 meeting.
Gerber said they received a generous donations of Easter eggs, and she said they should now have enough eggs for the hunt.
She said they are still in need of donations to fill the eggs.
“We are in need of candy, large amounts of candy,” Gerber said.
Gerber said the candy needs to be individually wrapped and cannot be chocolate.
She said anyone who would like to donate candy to help with the Easter Egg Hunt can drop the candy off at the recreation meeting March 11 at 7 p.m., or drop candy off at village hall.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. March 30 at Spencer Shank Park, 70 Robin Way in Amelia.
