Bethel-Tate’s Jason Adams was awarded the Beacon Orthopaedics Primetime Performer Award for his outstanding play during the week of Feb. 1.

A weekly award given out by WLWT Channel 5, Adams was nominated for his 27-point game against Goshen on Friday, Feb. 1, leading the Tigers to a 59-57 win over their Southern Buckeye Conference rivals.

Adams went 10-14 from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line while also grabbing eight rebounds and recording three steals.

Adams is leading Bethel-Tate, averaging 15.6 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per contest, both team highs. The senior also averages 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, both near the best on the team.

Despite starting the season 0-6, the Adams-led Tigers have righted the ship and will face Aiken on Friday, Feb. 22 in the first-round of the sectional tournament at Mason.
