Jones the Florist opening at Eastgate Jungle Jim’s

Jones the Florist, a Cincinnati floral company, will be opening in Jungle Jim’s Feb. 8, just in time for Valentine’s Day, according to Debby Hartinger, public relations marketing coordinator for Jungle Jim’s.

The shop will be located to the left of the front entrance in the international market.

Jones the Florist specializes in creating a variety of floral arrangements, plants and other gifts.

According to their website, the company was founded in the Cincinnati area in 1865. It was originally called Newport Fern and Floral and was located in Newport Kentucky. Today, David Fisher and family own and operate Jones the Florist, and are continuing to grow the company in the Greater Cincinnati area.

There are currently currently two other locations in the Cincinnati area, one on Walnut Street in downtown Cincinnati and one on Rossash Road in Blue Ash.
