Hugh Elmer Wagenfeld, 87, of Batavia, died Jan. 22 in Batavia.

Wagenfeld served in the United States Army during World War II. He also worked as a warehouseman for Sweeney Chevrolet.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Wagenfeld, children Leslie, Thomas and Scott Wagenfeld, step-children Michael, Tom and David Myers, Melanie Chariton-Meece and Lori Reuhlman, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford. Memorials to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
