Sheriff’s Office investigating a home invasion

The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion in Stonelick Township that occurred Jan. 15.
According to Sheriff A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg, a 71-year-old woman, whose name is not being released for safety reasons, left her home in the morning and returned at approximately 3:30 p.m. to find that her front door had been kicked in.
The woman’s property, including coins and an iPad, were stolen from her home, as well as a wood box containing the ashes of her deceased husband.
The case is still being investigated and no suspects have been identified or arrested.
