Tree removal ongoing in Bethel

Workers with Davey Tree Expert Company remove a tree, visible in the background marked with orange paint, from N East Street in Bethel. The company has been hired by the United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service as part of its Asian longhorned beetle eradication program. After cutting the top of the tree, Davey employees Chas Harrington, left, and Rob Schwier put branches through a chipper.
