David L. Payne, 63, of Goshen, died Dec. 25 in Montgomery.
Payne was a truck driver. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Thomas Payne, son David Payne II., grandchildren Jonathan Payne, Levi Payne and Emma Bauer, siblings Berlin Payne Jr., Connie Holbrook, Cherie Johnson and Ortha Meyers, half-brothers and sisters Bill, Tina and Tim Payne.
He was preceded in death by his son Jonathan (Erika) Payne, sister Karin Bryant and half-sister Bambi Payne.
Services 10 a.m. Dec. 31 at Goshen United Methodist Church. Interment at Goshen Cemetery.
