Lillian Mead, 91

Lillian Mead, 91, of New Richmond, died Dec. 15.

She served in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II.

Mead is survived by her son Robert Mead, grandchildren Nickole (Ron) Ketterer and Tracy (Kevin) Stave, great-grandchildren Ellie Meade and Gus Ketterer, siblings Evelyn Hamilton, Mary Ireton, June Ginn, Everett and Kenny McElfresh.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Lucille McElfresh, husband Robert “Bo” Mead and her siblings Marcella Newman and Clyde and Darl McElfresh.

Visitation 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Dec. 18 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in New Richmond. Interment at Watkins Hill Cemetery. As a memorial for Lillian please become a member of www.bethematch.org.
