Junior Turner, 88
Junior Turner, 88, died Nov. 22.
Turner served in the United States Army during World War II and received a Purple Heart while serving with General Patton. He devoted his life to his family, enjoyed farming and continued to work in the fields until he was 88.
He is survived by his children Ethel Mae Day, Garry (Patricia) Turner and Rosetta (Richard) Christian, grandchildren Heather (Ron) Hoerst, Kendra (Justin) Siefert, Garry Turner, Rose Mahon, Vera Kassen and Mary Beth (Josh) Tucker and 11 “great-grandbabies.”
He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Turner of 65 years.
