Many holiday activities planned for Clermont County

Holiday parades, festivals and events have begun in Clermont County and there will be something going on almost every weekend leading up to Christmas.
Amelia
The village of Amelia will have the annual Christmas Parade Dec. 9. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and run along Main Street.
The village of Amelia will also be hosting a holiday decorating contest for residents who live in the village. Details will be available at www.ameliavillage.com.
Batavia
Batavia Township will host their annual Christmas Tree Lighting event from 6-7 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Batavia Township Community Center. There will be carols sung by Batavia Elementary School students, refreshments and a visit from Santa.
Christmas in the Village will be held in Batavia from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 8. There will be carriage rides, a visit from Santa, crafts for children, prizes and refreshments at village hall.
Bethel
Bethel Down Home Christmas will be held in the village of Bethel from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 1, with a parade at 6 p.m. The event features breakfast with Santa, shopping, crafts, contests, food, entertainment and more. For more information visit www.bethelohevents.com.
New Richmond
A River Village Christmas will be held in the village of New Richmond from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 7 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 8. There will be a tree lighting ceremony, a Santa Paws pet parade, shopping opportunities, arts and crafts, carolers, a visit from Santa and more. More information is available at www.newrichmond.org.
Miami Township
Miami Township hosted a holiday parade Nov. 15 along State Route 28 in Milford, which featured local businesses, organizations and township staff.
The township will have a Holiday Tree Lighting and Open House event from 3-5:30 p.m. Dec. 1. The event will feature carriage rides, crafts and holiday music.
Milford
Hometown Holidays will be held in Milford from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov 23-24. The event will feature extended shopping hours and specials in Historic Downtown Milford as well as carriage rides, antique fire engine rides, an opportunity to visit with Santa, live music and more. Moscow
On Christmas Eve, Santa will visit the village of Moscow from 7-8 p.m.
Williamsburg
The Trains of Williamsburg Christmas Walk will be held from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 7. The event will feature food vendors, crafts, musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, shopping and train displays throughout the village.
Union Township
Union Township will have their Christmas Tree Lighting event at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Union Township Civic Center. More information will be available at www.union-township.oh.us.
