Williamsburg seventh and eighth grade teams combine for perfect season

The Lady Wildcats are, front row from left, Carly Wagers, Peyton Fisher, Grace Kuntz, Leslie Engle and Kasey Connor; second row, Emma Jeffers, Christen Abrams, Abbie Bowling, Calie Brown and Rylee Clark; back row, Coach Buffy Young, Coach Michelle Fisher, Emily Brown, Hope Shaljo, Aubrey Young, Mackenzie Loudermilk, Emily McKibben, Kacey Smith and Assistant Coach Erin Hale.

The Williamsburg seventh and eighth grade girls’ volleyball teams posted a combined 34 wins and 0 losses on their way for an unprecedented perfect season. 

Both teams captured the Southern Buckeye Conference league championship as well as the winning the SBAAC Southern Division Tournament Championships. 

Kim McCarty, the Williamsburg varsity volleyball coach commented, “These girls have made Williamsburg, the coaches, and parents so proud.”
