New Richmond is accepting council applications

New Richmond Village Council members are accepting applications to fill a vacant seat on council.

Administrator Dave Kennedy said councilman Vinnie Cochran announced that he would be stepping down from his position at the Sept. 11 council meeting.

Kennedy said council members are accepting letters of interest to fill the vacant unexpired position and must select a new council member within 30 days.

Residency within the corporation boundaries of the village of New Richmond is required to serve as council member.

Residents can send a letter of interest to council members addressed to the Clerk of Council at 102 Willow Street, New Richmond OH 45157.
