Milford Exempted Village Schools will be hosting two community listening sessions beginning this month.
“It’s the third year of us doing this, where we really have an open platform where residents can share their concerns,” Superintendent Dr. Robert Farrell, said about the sessions.
The listening sessions are scheduled for Sept. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at Milford High School and Oct. 9 from 7-9 p.m. at McCormick Elementary School.
Farrell said the levy on the November ballot could be a topic of discussion, but he said the listening sessions were planned to be open ended for residents to discuss a wide range of topics.
Farrell said at previous listening sessions they have discussed curriculum, academics, school finances and more.
“It’s our way of making sure we’re out there where people can speak with us,” Farrell said.
Farrell will host the listening sessions and said all community members are welcome to come.
“It’s for the whole community,” he said. “Not just those with children in the district.”
